School Sports Hall Floor

Daily PE lessons, assemblies and events had worn the hall's maple floor and faded its markings. The work had to be completed during the school holidays.

We sanded the whole floor back to bare timber with dust-free machines, then repaired a small number of damaged boards near the stage. Fresh court lines were painted in before sealing.

Coats of slip-resistant sports lacquer were built up to give the grip and durability a school hall needs. We handed the hall back on time, along with simple maintenance advice for the caretaker.
