Refreshing a Walnut Living Room Floor
An engineered walnut floor in Enfield deep cleaned and re-oiled in a single day — no sanding needed.
About this project
The engineered walnut floor was only a few years old, but the oiled finish had become dry and dull in the busiest areas. A full sand was not needed.
An intensive clean and a light buff prepared the surface. A coloured maintenance oil was then worked in with a buffing machine to restore the rich tone of the walnut.
The family were back on the floor that evening. We also recommended a simple cleaning routine and a re-oil every year or two.
